| Im sorry I dont know what you mean by overlap the tape a fraction... Do you mean have the tape partly past the lace so that some of the hair also sticks to the tape? |

I have never found the nape being a problem. Before I go out I get the two-way mirror and look at the cap from all directions.
I turn my head to the side, forward and back and the nape area... |

| This stuff is great. I love it. It holds up better than ultra hold against water and sweat, and when you want to remove the piece hardly any glue is stuck to the lace, it stays on ur head. |
