As Debbie said... What I do though is use a toothbrush (separate from the one for my mouth!) and use this to have a finer control of the hairs... I actually use this with conditioner to really ensure...

Apply a thin layer - wait for it to dry. Apply a second layer and wait for a further 2/3 minutes Gently lay the lace and apply to the glued area; it will stick. Magic!
