Post: RE: Another thin skin thread!

Why not try the G2BG route? There seems to be a growing preference for this method with an all skin system. The benefits that I can gather from this method is that it gives a good hold, you could remov...

Between buying from salons and buying from the Internet I shaved my head for over a year. I did get used to the shaved head but much prefer hair tbh!

Here is a copy of the blurb on the skin, 'The front is capped with a thin poly edge. So you’ll get a decent appearance and a little more durability than a micro-skin base.' So yes it appears that th...

No v-looping on the very small 0.03mm leading edge skin, just enough skin to conceal I am told?

I notice that on a competitors site (where the pictures are taken from) they have an injected 0.08mm skin with a leading hairline edge of the thinner0.03mm skin! So that could be the problem solved in...

What is the thinnest that skin can be to accept injected hair? 0.08mm seems to be the norm but I am sure I read, either on here or elsewhere, of 0.05mm skin having injected hair? Anybody know?

If you zoom in on that first picture it is most definatly v-looped, no matter what they say! You can clearly see the single hair going in, along underneath the skin and then out of the skin.

The first hair picture looks suspiciously like v-loop? Are you sure it is knotted hair?

Post: RE: 99% alcohol and scalp protector

For G2bG you do not need 99% alcohol as it is't a glue. Good old fashioned soap and water will do the job nicely! As for a scalp protector then this can lengthen your bond time as it will stop a lot o...

Mono bases today get a bad press but they aren't actually all that bad. The one thing I did like about the mono bases were that they held the scalp shape very well and didn't shed as much as the lace ...

Most of us agree that when it comes to a natural scalp appearance then injected skin can be very impressive. What holds back a skin system,in my opinion, is the hairlines. Now I know that many skin w...

Not a great deal of difference between the 2. Swiss is slightly softer to the touch but with a full head bond there is no difference on the scalp. Must say I have never had a problem with French lace ...

My only 'down' about wearing is that I am bald and have no other realistic option available to me. Overall it doesn't bother me wearing per se!
