Basically two general methods if your going to use the tape by itself. 1 is to cut the tape into small pieces, or small tabs, and place it on the front perimeter of the hairline right up to the lace...

So i guess scalloped is a standard size? Is it really necessary to get scalloped front with skin? Seems like it would make things just more complicated.

I cut my own hair, and even started cutting in my own systems, But the part that eludes me still is a good fade cut. Cutting it real short on the bottom and gradually increasing length as you go up....

Appearance wise, blue tape is still the best for the front. My suggestion to people. Use blue lace tape at the very front center of your hairline, and the rest use st30 for a clean attachment.
