The fade is the icing on the cake. When someone thinks "hairpiece", a fade type cut is the last thing on their mind. Same with highlights, styling products, etc. Good job.

I tweaked it a little yesterday. cut the sideburns thinner and shorter, and cut the hair in that area with the scissors pointing in to give it some "chop". Dino, I agree....it needs a little less den...

You might want to try Stick It tape. Low shine, strong, no irritation. I like blue liner and some of the other strong tapes but after awhile they cause irritation in the nape area.
