You can certainly rotate between two units if you so desire. And you would be amazed at what you can get away with when switching out lengths. The good thing about having a couple units you can choose... |

You got conditioner on the base. Next time ONLY aply conditioner to the hair itself. Pin the hair onto the styro head and work the conditioner through the hair, let it sit for a few minutes, then rins... |

Yea, when the hair is fairly brittle you can pluck it dry, but with good strong hair all you need to do is lubricate the knot a bit and it will slide out like butter.

It helps to have another set of eyes mark the perimeter.
If in doubt, order lace and make it a little larger than you think you might need. You can easily trim it down if it's too big. |
