Is there a difference in types of thinning shears? The ones I got from a beauty supply store have a fairly coarse cut, it was the only type that they had.

When using all tape, I prefer blue lace. Apply to scalp first, then fit the piece in the same manner as using glue. A little stretch is necessary IMO, but only a tiny bit. With tape, I find that doing...

Hi, and welcome to the forum. IMO you are a very good candidate for a hair system, you seem to have good growth left in the crown and decent temple points. A small system should work well for you, loo...

I guess that some of us have unfortunate body chemistry. I used ST30 on an all lace system and after a week there was as much goo as blue tape. The tape itself does hold together, unlike blue which ca...

If you are new to wearing, I would suggest that you start with one of the weaker glues or tapes until you get the hang of attaching and removing. One of the white glues like I-glue or Basebond, just u...

I'm not certain, but I think there were two different thicknesses of blue tape. Was this in contours, or on a roll? The roll that I got did not say "lace support" on it, the contours do.

The only way that I've found that works is to soak the system in DeSolvit, or GooGone, for a few hours or overnight if possible.

I've had mixed results with curly hair, lately I've been wearing a short style with straighter hair. It does seem that remi hair can be stiff when permed, the regular processed hair worked better.

That should not be enough to matter, although density can vary. I've used thinning shears a bit here and there, mostly just worn them and natural shedding will thin it out over time.
