The way I solved this problem is by cutting the base at the nape short, right on the bone then leaving 1/2" of my own hair. I also left 1/2" on the temples, this looks extremely natural with my own ha... |

I don't think the regular holds as good as the ultra, it's less shiny but I was able to pull on the front tonight and it came up real easy yet the sides and back with ultra wouldn't... |

Has anyone compared the two? Any comments? I just used the regular again on the front only any it lifted easily when I styled. I put on ultra and it wouldn't move! |

4ASH and love it. Can't see the knots. I never get any brassy/orange/red tones. My only issue is the color can fade fast but still no brassy/orange/red tones. Knock on wood....

I'm no expert but I would consider it a medium brown. I've been using that color with a mix of 7ash for 20+ years. I got a #4 before and it had a lot of red in it! |

Obviously if you shave your head then you'll have to go that extra inch or so otherwise it might look weird so I guess anyone thinking about a full cap should be aware of this and plan on leaving some... |
