I haven`t used that particular glue before, however, the general rule with all glues is to apply it thinly and evenly, and allow each coat to dry for 10 -15 minutes.... most glues take a full 24 hou...

If the system is new, it can have factory-residue on the lace...they spray the hair with silicons to add shine ..this can get onto the lace and prevent good adhesion ....when you take it off and wet ...

I haven`t used it but it seems fine and as you said, cheaper too..give it a try and let us know the results as this is a common enough issue ..red tones becoming visible.... I haven`t seen it be...

Most hair has those red tones / develops them over time from washing etc...... the hair is stripped of it`s original colour to one degree or other, before being coloured to your own hair-shade....y...

It`s very possible that whatever glue and / or tape was used, does not hold up well to your individual physiology -- it`s always trial and error at the start to find which products work best for y...

Yes-- it can be frustrating making a template ....most guys have to make a few stabs at it before it`s passable... I use kitchen cling-film and ordinary [clear] Sellotape --the very wide one......

I think everything AmericanJambo said is good / I agree with ..only major ``caution`` is relating to cutting the lace with a scissors...... don`t do it ! If anyone wants/ needs to trim or cut...
