This is my latest Fullcap ..... I`ve left a bit of ` length` on it, especially at the nape area....it looks thicker / fuller now because it`s new..all systems have that look, until they settle down......

If the stock front area is no good for you, then you should make a template to the desired shape /contour, and order custom.........soaking the knots in conditioner is usually successful..the knots ...
