Thanks for your reply.
But if I am coloring the fronts from blonde to 1B and then bleaching the knots why not just order the piece the color I want and save a step by just bleaching the knots?

Gotcha Homer. HIs bare scalp was colored "ginger"

When a piece does not "stick" right from the get go it is always the fault of the base - usually the base is oily. If you have lift after a day then usually the fault is your scalp.
