Yes, It would hide the shine but poly edges are visible if your density isn't thick enough. I would think if you have enough hair to be hiding the poly you would have enough to hide tape shine.... pe... |

If you send a hair sample or know your color (and highlight and/or grey if needed) by number and the factory gets it right, there's usually no reason why you should have to re-color a brand new piece.... |

There is no reason to have pieces of different lengths unless you personally want that.... and if you change too quick that WILL tip people off.
