HH: yeah, the hair at the back below the crown is mine. It blends pretty easily.

Yea, it's not a fullcap - I had it cut down into a large partial from the fullcap. My sides are good enough with added flaps (for temple points) to pull it off. Having bushy eyebrows helps a lot too...

Thanks John! The side hair (except for the front flaps) and the back hair is mine, the top and front are not. It looks even better in real life (no red tones, I think that was due to the flash).

Thatkid, you could go a little lower on the density, but that's up to you. I've found that the flaphair sheds faster, so that's another factor to take into consideration. Blend the flaphair into som...

Generally if you're thinning though I think you should ease into it. Would help to see a picture of you now. Also a hairstyle and density like that, to me, screams hairpiece. Might want to rethink ...

All the steps I've taken to prevent shedding (mostly from jrob): 1. Replaced my shower head with one that has much better filtration (I can feel the difference from this alone) 2. jrob's shampoo/cond...

Jrob, what about issues with shedding, partial vs fullcap? A hair expert that I talked to said that shedding with a fullcap is generally worse than on a partial.
