RE: Toplace customer photo (profile pic)
looks great, need more clarification on the hairline,
may look ok in reality, as we know cameras lighting angles are very deceiving,
also it has to be seid that some guys do keep a decent hairline throughout life.

as mentioned you could try thining out the hairline,
i remember having to tell , instruct my hairdresser to cut in reccesion at the temples,
on my second visit, shoudnt have to they should know ,

I agree with Porcupine and Southernguy.
Personally I think the picture below shows what a difference an altered hairline and a bit of scalp showing can make.

My best friend growing up had red hair and it was as thick at 55 as at 15. The front hairline in the picture on the left is pretty much what my friend always had. Probably the only people who would give it much of a second look are baldies like me.

I agree Maxx, many guys have natural hairlines exactly like the one on the left.
But the great advantage (and we have to make the most of those advantages!) is that we can opt for what suits our faces/heads the best.
I just think if we have choices, why not make the best possible ones?

I would spot that one. Doesn't look very natural on a guy his age.

The only thing that looks out of place to me, is the fact that he looks like he has side hair on the right side and no side hair on the left. Must have something to do with the lighting.

The pic on the left is, er, a red flag. The Photoshopped recession in the on the right is subtle but significant. It's still a lot of hair, but it works. Not only is it more age appropriate, it just plain looks better.
