I'm a little bit younger than you (27) ... i've just started wearing this year, and i really wish i started wearing years ago. To be honest, my balding isn't very severe yet.. just a receded hairline.. but even still, i am SO happy wearing a piece.. i get to have the exact hair i've always wanted.

Like others have said, i would recommend you go with a lighter density piece with some recession in the hairline.. but a really great trick that will 'fool' people is, order a piece DARKER than your natural hair and color your back and sides to match it. When you go to work for the first time, people will see a change and assume it's just that you colored your hair. So long as you get the hairline right and show plenty of scalp.. people's minds will never go "He's wearing a wig"
