As someone who has met you in person Ahmed, I can honestly say I'm really glad you've shaved it. You really didn't enjoy wearing, you worried about it, it caused you a lot of unnecessary anxiety, and you had a very exact idea of how you wanted it to look instead of just going with the flow and having a bit of fun with your piece. In fact, when I tried to get you to try something new with your piece when we met, you got incredibly anxious, afraid, angry, and you really are taking the whole thing much too seriously.

Wearing should be fun. It is for me. I never worry, never ever. And I don't think about wearing anymore... Which is unfortunately why I don't really come here a lot now - it's because I don't see myself as a hair wearer anymore, it's just like brushing the teeth at this stage (8 years!).

Wearing hair is not for everyone. After meeting you Ahmed, I definitely feel it isn't for you so I'm glad you've shaved! Have fun now and enjoy less anxiety in your life friend...
