RE: BA using pics of Toplace pieces for Stock Unit Gallery!
I think there are LOADS of people stuck in this cycle.
I've always thought that as a perfect marketing tool to get new business a supplier could run an offer whereby customers ordering a custom piece could get a stock piece included for a nominal extra charge (eg £50-60).
They would then have something immediately they could use whilst waiting for the custom piece to arrive.
It could be a once only offer per customer and I think would drag in lots of new business and help people to break that cycle.
It would cut down on complaints and returns because people would be getting what they wanted with the custom piece and would just make-do with the stock piece.
At £60 a piece for the stock, you'd hardly be able to complain!
Now that people are buying direct on-line, new companies are going to pop up all the time.
This competition has already resulted in prices dropping dramatically.
To keep customer and keep in business, there is only so low they can go.
They will need to think of new ideas to win customers.
Obviously, quality & service is the best tool, but I think my idea is a winner too!
