That could cause a `clash` for you [ Bodywave] as your hair is straight.... the only thing is, after a few washes and once the hair has been cut to the appropriate length, the wave diminishes as it`s only one step-up from straight hair... but you could carefully use one of those straightening-irons/tongs that women use to straighten hair ... intense heat [such as from a tongs] is not good for hair, but if you dampen and keep misting the hair with water while straightening it ....you should be ok..... I have used a curling tongs before to correct hair which was curling out away from the nape area, but making sure the hair was very moist while doing so.... you should be able to `get away`with it...you can get those straightening tongs relatively cheaply ..no point paying big bucks of you have little use for it later on.
