RE: New user need help please! New photos! - Wildcat - 01-04-2011 Have you ever visited a doctor about your hair loss OP? From the photos I'm not really sure you have straight out MBP, it looks quite thin and sparse all over which would indicate some other underlining problem. I'd go visit a specialist and get a few tests done, see if there isn't something else causing it that you may actually be able to address. RE: New user need help please! New photos! - Paul In Ireland - 01-04-2011 Hi Wildcat...it`s worth considering..though I knew a guy just like the original poster....parents took him to every doctor/specialist ..no joy.... and he was practically like that from before he was a teenager... I`d be a bit sceptical of these `Specialists` in general...[ $$$ !] Even if this level of alopecia can be somehow `helped`, I think a good system will help enormously with his self-confidence etc. in the meantime... Paul. ps....to loadingNOW...have a look at page 3 there -- I left a post there earlier with 2 pics.... RE: New user need help please! New photos! - younggun - 01-04-2011 That's right Paul!, I mean if it's not a big problem as a deficiency of vitamins, a disease etc.... You start thinking that everything you do in a manner is bad for your hair... you can't get drunk because you hair gets oily and then hairloss, etc etc... Sometimes, you have to accept that, well, If you had a life without stress, doing a 100% healthy life, maybe you could have a 5 years margin of good hair.. but If you are suppossed to go bald, you will go bald, 5 years of more hair controlling EVERY aspect of your life and worrying about hair loss?? no please!, I think that if you really worry about hairloss, the most practical solution is a GOOD hairpiece. That's my opinion. regards RE: New user need help please! Overall a full cap might require a little more work, but you have to remember that with a full cap you don't have to worry about blending and transition issues which can be a challenge even for seasoned hair wearers. loadingNOW- from your pics I can see that you will also face challenges due to thinning side hair. The style you are looking to do would be very, very easy with a full cap. I just don't think that you will be able to get the look you want with a partial. You would definitely need to have a professional stylist to do the cut-in, but I think you would be happy with the end result. Good luck and let us know how it turns out! |
