Downunder mate,
Well done getting the courage to delve into this hair wearing world mate.
In all honesty, its difficult to judge/assess from pictures, especially if doesn't show how the hair frames the face overall. Based from the pictures alone, its not too bad, but i feel maybe the partial isn't doing you justice, and a larger piece would have been better perhaps, (in terms of allowing your hairline and temples to have a more even appearance..dont know if that makes sense,) again its really hard to tell from the picture, and some of the other posters who actually saw you in real at the convention have said it looked fantastic, so their judgment/observations are probably more informed/accurate then mine from two pictures.
It only gets better from here mate, well done and my hat off to you for having the courage to do something about your hair loss.
