Someone asked me this question the other day and I thought I'd share it with everyone. It's made of polyester. Polyester is also used for SFS lace. The difference between SFS and French lace is not very noticeable---you have to look put the two materials up to your nose to see any difference. The pattern is slightly different. But both virtually disappear on the scalp when properly attached.
