Old Stock Unit/ "Shelf Life"
I have an old stock unit I never got around to using.

I'd say it's coming up on 2 years old! It's been sealed in a ziplock for all that time.

Do you think I could use it and get a few months out of it?

It looks perfect.

Hi Floriduh,
If it’s been in a drawer and not in the sunlight it will be just fine. It’s exposure to sunlight and the oxidation process that causes them to fade. But if it’s been out of the sunlight there’s no problem. I have some 2 year old units in a drawer that I will be using soon.
Regards,
John

Thanks! I thought so. I just remember reading human hair starts to decompose after a year or so. But this thing looks the same as the day I opened it.
