Class action lawsuit claims Wen hair products cause baldness
You see their ads on TV all the time. Advertising expense must be the biggest part of their production budget. Everybody is looking for the 'magic solution' but this sure ain't it. News release:

LAWSUIT CLAIMS POPULAR HAIR CARE LINE IS MAKING WOMEN GO BALD

There have been some big allegations against a popular hair care product that's been endorsed by countless celebrities.

Wen promises to strengthen hair, but more than 200 people - mostly women - are now suing claiming it actually made them go bald.

Action News reached out to the the law firm handling the class action lawsuit, who provided us with some photos.

People in 40 different states say the product, which is described as a natural, cleansing conditioner, caused baldness, rashes, scalp irritation, hair breakage and hair discoloration.

The products are designed and sold by Hollywood stylist Chaz Dean and Guthy-Renker and sell for about $30 dollars a bottle.

A spokesperson for Wen says there's no scientific evidence to support these claims and adds: "We intend to vigorously contest the allegations made against our products."
