A partial piece made from your own hair?
A question for the experts here; and I apologise if this is a stupid question!

For those of us who are just starting to lose our hair, say with a norwood 3 hairline with thick hair at the back and sides, would it be possible to get a small partial piece actually manufacured using our own hair? Obviously this would only be practical if there was a small area to cover - slight recession at the front or perhaps some thinning at the crown.

If someone were to grow their hair at the back/sides a bit longer, could someone cut this and then use it to make a partial piece?

Or is that a crazy idea...

Not a stupid question.

I regularly ventilate my systems whenever more hair is needed. I cannot think of any reason why ventilation with one's own hair is not possible. Keep in mind that you would need to be sure the length of the hair you provide is long enough for easy ventilation. I usually prefer to work with hair that is at least 4" long.
