Old Tip From B.A. Resurfaces

Re: Old Tip From B.A. Resurfaces
It's coming along pretty nicely ... Thanks Leamon for asking ....
some ups and turns.

I'm not a pro by any means. Because it is a long-haired, pony-tailed piece of
extra length... I go to Di Di (Toplace's recommended NYC stylist) every 2-3
weeks for a cleaning, redying, cut, whatever (all included) ...

For some, who have a lot of free time, that may seem very expensive, but I
have a NYC business with hi-rents, and the several hours fooling around cleaning a
piece weekly could be more profitably spent at work .... and I also have a job
where I am in the public eye and on tv on many occasions without fortright notice
.... So .. I chose not to be the Howard Cosell of the hypnosis world where people
focus on my hair instead of the work I've been doing over the years ...

I do a pretty good job cleaning the piece (while it's on), styling it ....
and re-glue-ing down the front when it comes up .... I'm using a thin
layer of Walker Safe Grip ... and a second layer on top using Ultra Hold ..
That works best for me ... either glue by itself, doesn't quite do the
job and give me much of a hold ....

Of course, I loved the ST-30 Tape which BA mentioned he might have
a limited supply in soon ... but I haven't seen any posts mentioning if it
is as yet, available.

I hope many of you choose to go to the October Convention in
Windsor. Matter of fact, I can't imagine why any serious new hair
wearers would blow this FREE opportunity of a lifetime.

You can waste more money in one session at one of the leading hair
chains and walk out extremely unhappy and heavily in debt compared
to the library of wisdom you will gain like I did at BA's convention ...
besides the fun and friends I have met and we still communicate

For eg. Hi to Lino ...Lino on this list (our chef at BA's barbecue) came
down with his lovely wife this weekend to NYC from Canada and we had a
blast ...

Some day I'll switch to a shorter style, but right now, I like the convenience ...
I only have to really worry about the front coming up ...

Besides I wore my hair long my entire life .... Imagine what it would do to
Ozzy Osborne's image with his fans showing up with a corporate doo Smile

Hope you guys have marked on your calendar the convention ...
Don't wait .... You have no clue how much fun you can have if you
come the day before ... like I did ... and enjoy Windsor and BA's
and Debbie's wealth of knowledge ..

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((::Smile)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

I remember awhile back, following your transition to a hair piece. You were the first (that I knew of) to wear it long. So how's the piece (and wearing) coming along? Are you pretty pro at it now?
