Which base?
If you want low density and wear a spiky hairstyle then which base should you use if you use only tape?

Would I-Lace be the best?

RE: Which base?
To be honest, a tape only attachment and a low density hairpiece don't really marry together very well.. Maybe someone else will have perfected a method.. but i'd say you should consider a glue attachment.

good luck

I'd be looking at low density with a tape attachment too. Does it really not work well?

RE: Which base?
I think it would be a bit hard with low density, but you can try to dab some water based (white) glue on the tape to take some of the shine out.

RE: Which base?
Some customers cut the tape in half length-wise to get a narrower piece of tape to attach with for a partial. If you want to use tape I suggest Walker No Shine tape. But most customers use glue.

I think SFS is the way to go.

RE: Which base?
I don't really agree. I think using tape would be fine. Just I am not sure if tape on the front hairline would work for you or not. They have a 3mil lace tape that works good for hairlines.. that is something you have to experiment with, but I can't see why tape can't be used for base attachment. It should be fine

RE: Which base?
I see the TL300 is recommended (on this website) for pieces with lower densities where showing some scalp adds a more realistic look. Hence my initial question.

RE: Which base?
Surely you can see, Oldwearer, that it depends on what tape you use? I think proflex is the only true no-shine one. Regards
