Hair wet still on the sides.
Flash makes everything look weird as always.
Even the flash with outside sunlight.
Next time I won't use the flash.

Perfect timing, I'm going grey and our side hair is about the same I think.

What are the specs on that piece?

I'll be posting a thread with some pics of my side and back hair when it's not colored. Will be looking for some recs on grey percentages.

i'd let the sides/back grow longer. you have the same issue as me, thin sides/back.

This is a stock unit, #2, 10% gray, 65%, brush back, all french lace.
The density is a little too high for what I prefer.
I'm going with a lower density next time, though this works for what I want.
I'm actually going to dye my own hair to match again. I did that when I got the unit
about 3 weeks ago, but noticed that I've had a fair amount of regrowth when I nipped everything
shorter and the gray is showing again.
I'm really toying with the idea of going shorter yet and the thinner sides may become a little less noticeable if I really buzz cut it.

That having said, I'm either going full cap or all of it off shortly (withing the next year, probably less).

I hope you go full cap, would hate to loose you as a wearer, I've learned a lot from you.

I think if you got someone to cut the sides and back a bit better so that it blended, you would be alot happier. It seems to have a disconnected look right now.

Fred's a pro, it's just the flash making it look dis con.

Wow looks great to me Fred. Nobody would ever tell, it's actually very difficult to figure out where it begins/ends imho!!

Keep up the great work, and I don't know how you could be unsatisfied with this.

I'd like to see pictures without the flash. If the flash makes that much of a difference, I can totally see a hover effect where the piece meets your side hair.
