skin piece
ive read some of the threads on skin pieces, im only on my thrid lace piece and really dont have much knowledge of other types of pieces, but i have read the threads but it doesnt really give me a clear idea of how much different a skin is then a lace, from what i understand is a skin like a layer of shrink wrap, is it possible to get a sample, it seems that most folks like the lace, what are the pros of skin, i do wear my hair swept back, to expose the majority of the hairline and been very sucessful with that, but if you have a skin, is it a great chance of being busted with a exposed hairline, any skin wearers out there that can chime in, also ive havent heard of a full cap in skin does it come that way also, as of right now i wear a topper, and so far fingers crossed i dont have a need for a fullcap yet , but just want to be informed in case i do need one in the future

I have been very curious about thin skin as well. I have heard you can get all skin with a lace front, so you should be still able to brush your hair back.

RE: skin piece
Yes, you can order the TL 400 with a lace front but not the TL 700 (New Generation) as it's just too thin to add lace. The advantage to skin is that it is easy to attach, remove and clean. And with the TL 400 you can get single strand injected hair or V looped. The New Generation is too thin to do single strand injected--the hair is V looped between two extremely thin layers of poly.

RE: skin piece
John, does injected hair into a skin base clash with a knotted lace front?
