It`s human hair so reacts to sunlight no differently than growing hair.... that`s the only difference....system hair is not growing, and needs moisturisation / conditioning to maintain it.

unless your own hair has an ash tone to it. I always had trouble getting a perfect colour match for my hair, my hair has no shine to it at all and units have shine so I ended going for a full cap.

too much stress and time and money trying to constantly get a perfect colour match that only lasts a few weeks then having to do it again...

yea but I guess you will never get the naturalness that your sides and back offer instead of using a full cap.

I agree, it would be nice to be able to do that but not all of us can, quality of one's own hair is also a factor, with short hair my hair is one colour but once it gets to a certain length it's a much darker colour.
