Would this base combo be bad?
I am thinking about ordering a TL700 base with 1" or 2" of swiss lace front. The main reason is that I love the scalp look of the thinskin and the feel of the attachments, and the way injected hairs lay on the scalp (flatter and not to "up"). My questions is can anyone think of a reason why this base would not work? I don't want to spend the money if there's a good reason why it might not work. For example, would there be an obvious join where the lace meets the thinskin? Particularly with a low density (50%) piece ?

Also, would the hair on the thinskin need to be knotted instead of injected to blend better with the knotted lace hair?

Lastly, does anyone have a picture of the difference between knotted and injected hairs in a skin piece? A close up.

Thanks for all the help

RE: Would this base combo be bad?
I have seen a hairpiece that was Swiss lace and the underside was a very, very thin skin a few years ago and it looked damn fine!
In fact the hairline was just as good as lace.
Haven't got a clue where the guy got it from? but maybe that would be your answer.
Maybe John or someone on here has seen something similar?
