I was thinking along the same lines as yourself as i couldn't see it at all.
The way the arguement was put across and the way i read and understood it was that by BA doing this he would make his business go under and and so wipe the slate clean in all areas of it while the other company that he has fronted by someone else would pick up the business.
I know far fetched but just reporting what i had read on another hair forum.
