Just been giving this some more thought... try just using glue as I suggested [as they are relatively small partials? ]..... but make sure to apply several layers EXACTLY as stated on the bottle...... allow to go clear/very tacky before apply each layer... you really should not have any problems with those glues ..they really are super-strong. I`d be most surprised if you have further issues, but there has to be a logical reason why the strong tapes seem to be letting you down ..as snell has said there ..he`s getting a week from them...
