Cleaning poly
I have a french lace with poly on back and sides.
The problem is that I am doing half hours (only for poly back and sides) with clean, pure glue MELTER 1/2oz, 10 cotton pads do need, per turn!
I'v read a thread somewhere on the forum where it has come to mirror slide? But is this also well known technique suitable for poly?
If anyone has further suggestions for a quick and easy clean without to spend 1/4 of a bottle pure glue MELTER and so on, I would really appreciate it.

Thx,
Chris.

Re: Cleaning poly
you should use a different type of adhesive that is easier to clean. I recommend using an easy to remove tape such as no residue tape etc on the poly. I dont care what anyone says. Using strong tapes and glues on poly or thin skin is a hard job to clean up. People say its easier, but i never found it to be the case. If you want to use a strong tape, someone recommended u lay down scotch tape on the poly first. Then put the tape on top of the scotch tape. That way when its time to remove the scotch tape comes off easier from the poly and doesnt leave a residue.
