Does anyone know what is the normal/general time that knots will stay bleached before you have to re bleach? Would 2 months be about normal?

Shouldn't the normal time be forever? Unless you re-color your hair? Once you bleach, it strips the color forever. Correct me if I'm wrong...

How much risk is there in the lace possibly becoming so weak from bleaching knots that it just tears?
