on a previous post you wrote- If you need to kill the shine on most any tape, apply two thin coats of white glue, "smearing" the glue as it begins to dry. One extra step, problem solved.

i just wanted to ask you about this tip if thats ok- i apply walker tape to the lace first. so should i use say i glue and apply it to the tape before i stick it to the lace, would this work ok? thanks for any help

Re: FAO J.Rob
My standard tape is Blue liner, and this method works well with this tape, however I have used it with other tapes as well.

I always attach the back edge (neck) of my full cap with a strip of tape that I have beforehand added two coats of glue. Either grip the tape from the sides or use old tape liner to hold one side while you glue the other side, then flip the whole thing around and do the other side.
