Problem with ST-30
I just tried attaching with ST-30 for the first time and there is way too much shine for my density (45-50%). After I got it secured on my head I realized this. My question is what is the best way to get this off soon w/o hurting the sfs lace? This stuff is pretty strong. Should I do it now (I attached 30 min ago) or should I do it in the morning, or will I have to wait a few days?

It sucks cuz I was really looking forward to the strength and easy clean up that ST-30 is known for. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to stick to UH (and that can be kind of messy). I heard that using a layer of basebond and then a layer of coolpiece glue on top of that is a really good combo. Anyone tried this?

Thanks...

Re: Problem with ST-30
Release anytime with 99.

Try Supertape. Printed side toward lace.

Re: Problem with ST-30 -- Another Problem
Di Di, my hairdresser .. just commented .. holding
two rolls of ST-30 side by side as I sat in the chair and
she was about to reattach my piece

.. the new one I ordered and the older one we were
finishing up ... They were two different sizes ....

I wonder if the company made that change intentionally ..
or ... do we have a choice of two different sizes we can
order .. because di di wanted the larger width

All her contact information is on there .....email, phone ...
She works out of Bentley's on 57th Street and also out
of her home .. somewhere in Queens

Re: Problem with ST-30
to dull shine, tap it with your finger or spread a thin layer of white glue over it.
Count;
st-30 only comes in 3/4 inch by 108" rolls...if you have a different size, it's not st-30.

Snipe - is Supertape as easy to clean up as ST-30, since it has equal hold? I had one dettach before I returned my units for a density drop, and the ST-30 came up supereasy

Nope, nothing there. The messaging function is turned off on this forum too?

Re: Problem with ST-30
You might try some skin colored stage powder on the hair base as well to eliminate the tape shine.
