As I'm waiting for my first order I need all the supplies.

Here is a list of required items to get started:

Tape or glue
Lace Release

Knot sealer
leave in Hair Conditioner

Thanks.

Ebay is quite good for comparing prices & getting stuff in the UK.

Or:
http://www.foreverhair.co.uk/
http://shop.stocklacefrontwigs.co.uk/index.asp
These people used to do supplies (&probably still do) but they're revamping their site, so I can't see a link to their products at the moment

Hi standbyme.... the forever hair site has a good selection but I did price-comparisons before with Debbie`s prices [same products] and Debbie was cheaper on many items... I recently bough more products from her and her shipping charge is a reasonable 15$ and delivery is within 4/5 days. Also, Forever hair doesn`t have Knot-sealer as far as I`m aware.... I know some wearers don`t use it but I always have done so, as I`d rather not risk shedding from knots becoming undone [ it`s on/under the `Accessories` link on her site] http://www.splitendshairreplacement.com/...ds_008.htm You can compare prices with currency-converter http://www.xe.com/ucc/
Enhance conditioner which I`m a big fan of can be obtained from London http://www.hair-development.com/shop/accessories/6/ That site is a little difficult to navigate but there`s page 6 of their accessories and you`ll see the `Enhance` conditioner there. Paul.

Thanks Paul, just out of interest how do you get round custom charges if its sent from the US. Plus what does debbie put on the customs label?

p.s. What is the best product to clean the lace?

I`ve never really scrutinized the label ..as far as I remember it say`s something `innocent`like care-products...there`s an invoice label in a sealed `pocket`/pouch taped to the back [ just says `invoice`] which you`d have to open with a scissors...when you open it, it gives a list of the items and at the top it says `` Customs officials, please respect confidential hair system supplies``. I`ve never had to pay import duties on any shipments either from Toplace or Debbie..... they`ve never been opened/inspected by customs either...... I imagine that as they are not commercial and purely for personal use, you shouldn`t be charged any duties--- you could always check with your nearest Customs office ?
As for cleaning lace...just apply some glue-melter [`Pure` etc.] onto any residue on the lace, allow a minute or two to `work` and then you can do the mirror-slide [simply draw/wipe the lace across a glass surface] or you can rub the residue off with some bubble-wrap..it`s quite effective. Cheers,Paul.

The best place I've found in the UK is Bargain Lace Wigs http://www.bargainlacewigs.co.uk/

It's run by a very helpful lady and her service is just flawless. I've got all my tapes, glues and products from her for over a year now. I highly recommend her.

Had a look at that site there [ click the accessories link on the left ] --a good selection there and she does carry knot-sealer too so that might suit standbyme better ...there`s also a leave-in conditioner too but I`d still go for the `Enhance`... I guess it`s just that I`m so happy with it now ..... I`m sure there are many which are as good, but it can be costly and time-consuming shopping around and trying various ones ..... it`s good when you find a good supplier with whom you`re happy...cheers guys, Paul.

Nice one - I shall check this out. I have just ordered my first system and Im about to leave the world of nanogens (Toppik in USA), black pillow cases and fear of rain/swimming/fun!
This came up next to a Toplace video on youtube - would this help keep our hair systems looking healthy longer?
