66% is far too light a density. Go for 67.3% or maybe 67.2% if you want to be conservative.

To answer your question I wear 65% and it covers the tape perfectly well. I recommend applying tape to the skin and then adding a layer of white glue. This makes attaching easier and also takes the shine off the tape and also adds a little more hold. It's win win win!
