I have 1b hair, and want to get rid of some dark knots, Is this the correct bleaching kit to use?

Any bleaching kit will work. Just be aware that with 1B color, if you bleach the knots really, really light, like to blond or so, you will really damage the hair which usually causes it to shed very, very quickly.
The factory should have bleached the knots before you received the unit.
