Snipe,

Big fan of your style in that link - I've actually decided that I'm printing our your pictures and getting my style cut-in simalarly... a little bit messier and with slight more wave.

The thing that really caught my eye was your crown area - I know you specced no crown, but the complete lack of knots is brilliant. How did you do this? I know you bought Debbie's kit, but was there a specific way you bleached it as opposed to normal.

Appreciate your help mate.

Jazzy

Hi Jazzy,

I did bleach those knots with Debbie's kit.

My unit now is bleached good enough to look fine from the factory.

Does anyone know the base material on the 65% pic?

JMO, but . . . . To my eye, given how close-cropped your side hair is, the density of the topper is too much. Plus, I think the hairline would be less conspicuous with more recession on the sides.

Thanks for your opinion and I totally agree with you. This was actually my first custom order over a year ago so I wasn't sure about the density and just started with 65%. I had just attached it and hadn't trimmed/thinned it out any. Here are a couple of pictures a couple days later after I got it trimmed....

Here are a couple pics of my recent piece ....less density and a little more recession.

I would also like to add that Debbie always cuts my pieces in via mail and I trim them as needed after I get them.

Well, those are the pictures you should've posted in the first place!! Very, very nice.

As impressive as many of the still photos posted here are I'm still curious to know this":
How undetectable is the piece when the wind is blowing? Is the transition between the topper and your side/back hair noticeable? Or posting the question this way: How noticeable is it when the wind whips it around a bit?

Thanks!

I have posted these pictures before, if you search you will find them. I didn't post that first pic on this thread, I believe John did that to show what 65% density looked like.
