I was thinking of getting this done to achive a shaved look until i leave jobs and wait for my hair to grow at which point back to my hairpieces. What do you guys think and is there anyone who has any experience with this type of thing? I only want to achieve a buzzed look and nothing more. Thanks for any help as always folks!

Anyone had experience with it? Debbie, among her other talents as a fantastic stylist and certifed NSHRS (Non-Surgical Hair Replacement Specialist) is also a certified MPS (Micro Pigment Specialist). She does this stuff all the time. I'm sure she'll comment when she reads this post.

yes, I have emailed with him already and gave him the information on the hair studio above to check out (since he is in the UK). I've done many transplant scars but never a whole head of "stubble". yes, it can be done, and if you only want the shaved stubble look I think it can look pretty realistic. but as I always say.......its permanent so think about it long and hard before deciding....but yes, I think it is a viable option !!

I dunno man. I mean I could understand this procedure working when you have hair already, and want to thicken it up, like prothick or dermmatch. But I am not sure I would trust it by itself. You might end up looking like that dude from flash gordan. Id be real careful doing this if i were u. plus its perm.. If u hate it, I dunno. Just be careful.

yeh the permanent thing is what scares me a bit, at least with a piece you can simply take it off. Debbie is it possible to remove the tattoo is I am not happy with it? I realise lazers would be involved but if it can be fully removed then it is less of a risk i guess. Thanks

I've seen pictures and the results look really good. The only thing that concerns me is what if my hair turns gray one day? I imagine the darker tattooed hairs would really stand out and may look a little odd, but I really don't know.

You could have the procedure done with henna to see if you like it (it will last a couple weeks)....and then decide if you want it done permanently.

Homer I can't speak for other companies but the one you posted called HIS is the real deal and I have been in touch with the owner Ian for a couple months now.....Trust me people have amazing this procedure is....Iam going to ditch this wig when I graduate next year and Iam going to get this procedure done...I know what you are thinking that no way can it look real but trust me it is more realistic than wearing a piece....if anyone wants more info let me know..

as I said before, I've only tattooed hair transplant scars and burn areas on scalps, I've never done an entire scalp of stubble...I would Love to see pictures.

I dunno, a blanket statement like that does not make any sense to me. How can you say its better then a hair system, what if someone doesnt want a stubble look, but wants hair. lol And its like assuming that shit will even look good. I think its gonna look like shit. And if the tattoo ink fades, wow. rofl.

but in either case. I guess even if this procedure does work, Its gonna give the effect of a day old shaven head without the stubble. Why not just shave ur friggin head?

Oh and btw, if his procedure is so amazing where are the PICS on his site? U think they would be showing it off. I dont trust it. If i had a tattoo method and i really wanted to convince people id have a friggin video of the procedure and pics on my page, cause obviously people are gonna be skeptical.
