For some reason they have decided to cut the crown out of the piece.

That's right I have a whopping three fingers wide hole where my crown used to be and the comment was "the crowns lost a tonne of hair, might wanna watch out for it." Combed and puffed I couldn't tell much difference til I got home and actually looked at it properly and sure enough there was fuck all hair there.

I didn't even think they would have cut it out until I went for a scratch and realised they had cut the thing out completely.

Why on earth would they do this?

Maybe they were 'ticked off' that you used a Toplace unit and didn't buy a unit from them. Do they sell hair systems?

They do, I've been there plenty of times and they've never tried to push their crap. It's just bizarre.
