I posted before about No Shine tape irritating the front of my scalp. I thought it was because the tape was so strong that if a solvent wasnt applied on removal your skin would be litterly lifted up or damaged (red streaking). Well I switched to a "calmer" tape and the problem still exists. I believe, due to over productive sebacious glands that seemed to really rev up last year, the extremely oily scalp reacts with the adhesive on the tape and makes for some kind of allergic reaction. I wonder if anyone out there knows if there is a tape that works well under these conditions? Or better yet, what is the best way to treat an extremely oily scalp other than washing everyday and using astringents excessively. Has anyone encountered this because it is a very uncomfortable feeling and Im litterly alternating the placement of the tape every other day (not assuring a good hold at all). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
