I'm 50/50 about reading your post. On one hand, I'm disappointed that after reading a lot of positive reviews and success stories, someone had a bad experience trying to wear a system. On the other hand, I'm glad to hear the honesty and support from the community here that it can be trial/error at first but there are plenty of people around to help you get through it.

I'm finally getting to a position where I can order a system and make an appointment with Debbie and I'm getting a bit nervous, asking the same questions as you. But as I said, it's nice to know that there's people here to help me make the most of the experience. Hopefully there will be a point where you can give it another try and things will change for the better.
