Don't stop the plastic shaper that comes with every stock and custom unit. It's the plastic mould that the unit comes with. Save it and use it to make your nest template. It's the perfect shape! Templates have a tendency to grow bigger as your bald area expands. The shaper is perfect to use as a mould. Just use a black marker to mark the area where the template butts up to your own hairline. Use arrows to mark the direction of the hair. Don't forget to mark the crown area if you want one.
