Super tape is great stuff. It’s very strong. And a lot depends on the freshness of your bond. If you’ve had the tape on for over 10 days the adhesive is beginning to break down. This is especially true in the summer when people are outdoors and more active. The adhesive gets ‘gooey’ and loses it’s strenght. So a fresh bond is important. I think you’ll do fine as long as the bond is fresh.
