The first time you go out in public is the most daunting, so do it in short bursts.

In my case, I needed my regular hair cut so I went to the hair stylist wearing my hair system (already cut in) but it was loosely attached so I could remove it for my own haircut. I was meeting two friends (a married couple) who were also to get their hair cut. The hair stylist knew I was going to wear my system, so she did not way a word. The guy's wife kept looking at me and commented that my beard had started to fill in. I sat down next to her husband and we chatted for 5-10 minutes when he looked at me and said, "You've got more hair!" I had previously told both of them I had a hair system and they dared me to wear it one day. They both wanted to see how it was made, so I popped it off my head and they admired the workmanship.

We meet regularly for our haircuts and the guy kept telling the stylist to just shave off my thin hair so I could go "chrome dome". That's when I told them I don't need to since I had a hair system. Everybody demanded to see how it looks, so several months later I sprung it on them. They are both very impressed and told me I should have done it a long time ago. The stylist had never cut a system before, so she wanted to do a cut in on my next system -- free of charge. I trust her, so maybe I will do it.

If you are careful to do a proper application, most people will not notice. It's the poorly applied, poorly designed (too dense, too low on the forehead, badly matched hair color) systems that get noticed.

Every time I put on my system, I am totally amazed at how much better I look. My philosophy is if you look better with it, then just freakin do it.
