It may not be the fault of the stylist, because different people's body chemistry is different, and so they get different hold times from the same glue. Maybe it is just that this particular glue is not the best one for you. Do you know which glue it was? Or it may be that they didn't do a good job, and they left oil on your scalp which has spoiled the bond. Could you perhaps post a picture of the hairline (obviously blank out the rest of your face) so we can see what is going on?

You shouldn't have to take the whole piece off. You can just flip the hairline back, using alcohol if necessary to release the bond, then clean up the lace and your scalp, redo the glue, let it dry, do a second layer, let it dry, and reapply your hairline. Press the hairline well into the glue with the side of a comb. As Anty says, the key thing is to make sure your scalp is free of oil. Also, do the reattach in a cool dry place so you are not sweating, and try to avoid significant sweating for at least 3 hours after applying, overnight if you can (so no gym).

Let us know how you get on.

Hi Baldrich,
Thanks a lot for the response! I appreciate it. The glue used was walker tape ultra hold or ultra bond. I do tend to have oily skin. The hair stylist did try and free my forehead of any oils and did do a double layer. I think she might have not made the coat of glue thick enough. I'm not sure. Here is a picture of how the side looks when I pull it up. so far I'm having a bit luck hiding it by having my hair cover it but I'm afraid the rest will come loose before my glue comes in the mail. Do you have any suggestions for this?
