A quick simple solution is to buy an off the shelf box of dye that is close to the color you desire and dye the piece and your own hair to match. If you are careful you can dye a piece easily. Just leave it on half the time that you leave it on your own hair and carefully comb it into the piece a little bit at a time, with a metal comb, making sure to not get it on the base. Then attach the piece and style it in a way that the knots don't show. Use a blow dryer and product of choice.
