An expression that I like is "you will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger"

HOWEVER, being the freak that I am and being skinny as a kid I experienced my fare share of bullying and when fear and uncertainty and a heavy degree of sadness is displaced by anger, clarity and a moderate beating to the aggressor it is quite an enjoyable feeling. I only speak from the point of view of not causing real damage though or completely losing control.
